These organisations hoped to contribute and share expertise and resources towards realization of refugees’ rights. Having formalized their operation system, they began to carry out awareness to promote and protect the rights of refugees and displaced persons. Since UNRSPO was formed, special focus has been put on the promotion and protection of the refugee persons with disabilities in relation to the observance of fundamental human rights. Currently we are promoting access to ICT to the refugees with disabilities. However, we still are limited by funding to help us deliver the required services. The refugees with disabilities have unique problems and needs that we are still unable to address. We welcome advice and solutions to the wellbeing of refugees. We acknowledge Barefoot Power for promoting solar power for rural and small income earners.
