Uganda Health Marketing Group (UHMG) is an indigenous organization that was founded by reputable public health and social marketing Ugandan professionals in 2006. With support and mentorship of the AFFORD Health Marketing Initiative, a USAID – funded project led by Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, Centre for Communications Programs (JHU-CCP), UHMG has become one of the leading organizations committed to accelerating the spiral of health market growth and development in Uganda.
We operate as a not for profit entity with a team of seven founder members, nine board members, five advisory committees, a technical advisory group and a robust management team committed to improving the quality of life of all Ugandans.
UHMG envisages a Uganda where families and communities are empowered to protect and improve their health; where markets for health products are vibrant and expanding; where consumer access to affordable products and services steadily improves and is increasingly sustainable.
